Skin disorders refer to various medical problems related to the skin. About millions of people are suffering from various kinds of skin disorders in their daily life. The most common types of skin disorders seen on the hands are psoriasis, dermatitis and eczema.

Dermatitis is also a common term which is used to portray the swelling of the skin. This type of skin disorder is featured by a red or pink rash which causes itchiness. Mostly people are affected by contact dermatitis.
This skin disorder develops due to an allergic reaction to certain substance. This disease can develop on any portion of the body but most worst affected part of the body is hands. This skin disorder is not transferable. In this type of condition, the person feels scratching on the hands and then the condition becomes worse.
Eczema is also one of the skin disorders with which millions of people are being affected daily in their lives. The most common symptoms of eczema are red, irritated and itchy swollen skin. In this type of skin disorder, one feels very uncomfortable.
If one is having eczema, then one suffers from itching, dryness and scaly and cracked skin and easily allows the allergens and bacteria to generate an allergic reaction. There are various types of eczema and they include contact dermatitis and atopic eczema. One can also suffer from mild, acute and chronic eczema depending on the condition of the hands.
There can be numbers of causes of this skin disorder and they include dust mites, low humidity, psychological factors and irritants in the environment and home.
